Rural Microenterprise Transformation Project (RMTP)
Genesis Research Consultancy Limited (GRCL) provided endline evaluation and report development support for the project “Production and Marketing of Safe Fish and Fish Products”, implemented under the Rural Microenterprise Transformation Project (RMTP). The evaluation was conducted to assess the project’s progress, achievements, outcomes, and overall contribution to improving the production and marketing of safe fish and fish products among participating microenterprises and value-chain actors. The assignment focused on examining project performance against its intended objectives and identifying key achievements, challenges, lessons learned, and areas for future improvement.
Our Scope of Work
GRCL supported the preparation of the Endline Evaluation Draft Report, incorporating systematic assessment and evidence-based reporting. The work included:
- Review of project objectives, activities, and implementation strategies
- Assessment of project outputs, outcomes, and achievements
- Analysis of project performance against planned targets
- Assessment of beneficiaries’ and stakeholders’ experiences
- Evaluation of safe fish production and marketing practices
- Identification of implementation challenges and constraints
- Documentation of key lessons learned and good practices
- Development of evidence-based conclusions and recommendations
- Preparation and structuring of the endline evaluation report
The assignment emphasized a clear, systematic, and evidence-based presentation of findings to support program learning, accountability, future planning, and informed decision-making.
