Through this experience, she developed an understanding of how technical functionality and user experience can be integrated to create effective and accessible digital platforms.

Ishmat Jahan possesses technical knowledge in several programming and information technology areas, including C, Java, HTML, and MySQL. She also has experience with technical writing and Microsoft Office applications. Her combination of programming knowledge, web-development experience, and communication skills allows her to understand both the technical and organizational dimensions of digital projects. An important component of her academic experience was the development of TravelIsta, a user-friendly travel booking website focused on destinations across Bangladesh. The project also strengthened her ability to translate an idea into a functional digital solution.

Her research experience is further demonstrated through her undergraduate thesis on deep learning-based lung cancer diagnosis using the LC 15000 Histopathological Dataset. This work provided her with exposure to research methodology, data-oriented problem solving, computational approaches, and the application of artificial intelligence in biomedical research. Working on a research problem involving deep learning and histopathological image data strengthened her analytical capabilities and developed her understanding of how computational techniques can be applied to complex real-world problems.
